EXERCISE TO PERFORM AT THE END OF THE YEAR DURING THE HOLIDAY SEASON



This week, I read an awesome post from Ms. Cheryl Richardson.  Something that captivated my attention was an exercise that she routinely performs at the end of the year during the holiday season.  This weekend, I will follow her example.  I plan to go to the Hudson River and perform the same exercise, and I choose the Hudson River because it is a site conducive to relaxation that is geographically accessible to me.  I will bring a pen or marker to write on few pieces of driftwood; on the wood, make a list of all the things that I want to let go (I know there are at least three); throw them in the water; and then I will give gratitude for all of my blessings.  Also, I will meditate and visualize what I want in this present and for the New Year 2011.  I think that this is a great exercise “to let it go” and I wish to share it with you.  I recommend that you do try it on any day before the New Year. Thank you, Cheryl Richardson, for the catharsis!

EXERCISE
Go to the ocean, find 3 pieces of driftwood, write the things you would like to let go of (resentment, fear, depression, criticism, etc.) on the wood, thank them for having made you who you are, and toss them into the ocean to be carried far away and to never return.  Then spend some time on the beach/river imagining what you want for the coming year.

During these holidays what are you willing to do for you and others? Had you make a decision yet?
A great gesture can be, to become more generous with yourself and others. You have a heart full of love that is waiting for your appreciation. Every morning look at the mirror and serve a smile with an expression of joy. Also, offer this emotion to anyone you see during the day, either on the street, work, stores, etc.  
Today explore your closets and donate that extra jacket, coat, and any clothes that you don’t use so often. Most of us have a least half a dozen of stuff that we don’t make use of. You can also do volunteer work in any soup kitchen for homeless. Offer any kind of charity to the less fortunate.

CHANGING MY DNA


Do you know that you can change your DNA? Most of the people think that illnesses are passed down genetically. Others concentrate all their thoughts that they are not going to suffer from it and end up attracting those diseases because of their negative vibes.

Health is the most important component of our lives yet many of us take it for granted and focus our energy on the tiny percent of our life that is not going well.  Focus on the part of your health that is not well, bless it, treat it with love and declare it is well. Know that you have the power to make your health better by doing whatever it is that you think should be done but also know that positive thoughts will ease the process of getting you better in every imaginable way. Every day send this message to your brain “I AM HEALTHY”. Do you know that your brain doesn’t know the difference between reality and illusion? That’s right; it means you can create the health you want. Keep sending positives information to your mind by practicing positive affirmations “I AM HEALTHY AND ENERGETIC”.  

Be aware that you have the power to manifest the healing you want in your life. Have faith in the procedures and treatments you follow, use affirmations, maintain a healthy diet by learning about nutrition, meditate everyday and do exercises at least three times during the week.  Enjoy the health you have and be happy with the anticipation that the parts that need to heal will improve everyday!  Keep affirming “HEALTH IS PART OF MY NATURE”.

FEAR OF NOT HAVING ENOUGH


Are you a compulsive buyer? What makes you a compulsive buyer? You are a compulsive buyer because in your unconscious mind you think that in the future you would not have the money to get what you will need. You always think there is never enough and develop the habit of buying things that you don’t need, especially during the holidays. Because of your fear of no having enough you keep buying to feel secure.
This fear of “not enough” takes you out of your present and keeps you into the future, what don’t gives you time to enjoy the now. Today, start observing your actions. Are you conscious on what are you buying? Are you integrating your mind with your heart or are you only using your head? Both of them have to be combined to keep you in the present. You have to be congruent to develop shopping discipline. At the time you desire to buy something try to focus, unite your heart and your mind and become aware of your feelings at that moment. Your heart and mind has to be vibrating with the same passion.

COMPRADOR COMPULSIVO

¿Te consideras un comprador compulsivo? ¿Que te lleva a ser un consumidor compulsivo? Eres un comprador compulsivo porque en tu subconsciente optas por la idea de que tienes que comprar hoy porque quizás mañana no tendrás para conseguir lo que vas a necesitar.  Siempre crees que nunca es suficiente y por esta razón desarrollas el hábito de comprar cosas que no son necesarias, especialmente durante las fiestas navideñas. Te mantienes comprando para sentirte seguro porque llevas contigo el  miedo de que nunca sea suficiente.
Este  miedo de “nunca es suficiente” te lleva fuera del presente y te transporta al futuro, robándote la experiencia de disfrutar el momento presente. Hoy intenta observar tus acciones. ¿Estas consciente de lo que estas comprando? ¿Estas integrando tu mente y tu corazón, o solo estas usando la cabeza? Los dos tienen que estar combinados para mantenerte en el presente. Para desarrollar disciplina de compra tienes que ser congruente. Cuando decidas comprar algo trata de enfocarte, une tu mente y tu corazón, y toma conciencia de tus sentimientos. Tu mente y tu corazón deben vibrar con la misma intensidad.

A message for this week ♥


This week prevent arguing and been worried for all your limitations. You just need to focus on your abundance; even thought you think they are limited. Stop trying to have control over the things you can’t manage. Don’t let this economic reception weaken your worth, because it is something you cannot be in command of. Focus on your state of being; you are the only one in control of it. It is a learning skill that every one can developed through the art of allowance by letting your life be in motion with the stream.

Think about all the things you take for granted. You have a roof that save you from harm weather conditions, food on a plate, a coat that protect your body from the cold weather, good health, friends and family who cares about you. Now take a moment, close your eyes and think about something you feel graceful. Then, take two pieces of paper and write down why you feel graceful. Post one piece of paper on a place you can see during the week and take the other any where you go (inside your pocket, wallet, bag, car, etc).  Even if you don’t celebrate the Holidays, celebrate happiness inside you. Give yourself a gift by been graceful not matter what are your circumstances. Starting today, apply self-effort to effect the changes you want in your life. Everything around you is sparkling; you have the creative power to shift sadness to happiness

UN MENSAJE PARA ESTA SEMANA ♥


Esta semana trata de prevenir discusiones y sentirte tenso por tus limitaciones. Céntrate en tu abundancia; incluso si crees que estas son limitadas. Deja de intervenir en las cosas que no puedes controlar. No dejes que la situación económica debilite tu valor, porque no está a tu mando. Enfócate en ti; tú eres el único en control de tu estado de ánimo (mediante el control de tus pensamientos). Todo esto se trata de un aprendizaje que cada uno puede desarrollar mediante el arte de ceder y dejar llevarse por la corriente.

 Piensa en todas las cosas que posees. Tienes un techo que te cubre de las condiciones climáticas, alimentos, un abrigo que te protege del frío, salud, amigos y familiares que se preocupan por ti. Ahora tomar un momento, cierra tus ojos y piensas en algo que debieras dar gracia. Luego, toma dos pedazos de papel y escribe porque te sientes agraciado. Pon un pedazo de papel en un lugar que puedas ver durante esta semana y el otro dondequiera que vayas (dentro de tu bolsillo, monedero, bolsa, coche, etc.) Incluso, si no celebras las fiestas de Acción de Gracia concéntrate en celebra la felicidad que existe dentro de ti. Un regalo que puedes darte a ti mismo es sintiéndote agraciado no concierne cuáles son sus circunstancias de tu vida. A partir de hoy, debe aplicar auto-esfuerzo para efectuar los cambios que quieres lograr. Todo nuestro universo es hermoso; tú tienes el poder creativo para desplazar la tristeza y convertirla en felicidad

EMOTIONS ARE THE KEY


Everything is a reflection of your expectations. Sometimes we don’t get what we want is because we are not focusing the right way. There has to be a correlation between the mind and the heart. They have to be blend and vibrate at the same time, longing for the same purpose of attraction. It is the most difficult technique to learn, but when you get focus on the present and begin to combine your mind and your heart together you will see the difference. There will be a connection and the outcome will be the result you are looking for. Your emotions are the key.

RESENTMENT


Today is the day to face reality and stop judging our parents. A lot of people spend their life blaming their parents for their misfortunes. Our parents did the best they could, they didn’t took any courses, seminars or read any books about how to raise a child. If you have children think about it. Had you feel afraid any moment while raising your child? Our parents experienced the same feelings of fear, maybe because their ages, emotional state, economy, etc. Lest stop blaming them for the choices we had taken in life. Today is the day to think about all the sacrifices they had done to raise us. Thinking negative about them don’t help you or them, it only creates resentment, depression, illness, more emotional scars and limitations. Few people grow up without emotional scars; some parents had made bigger mistakes than others. We have to recognized that we are adults and need to stop been obsess with that idea of resentment and let it go. Stop been the victim and feeling sorry for yourself. Who you became was your decide, not your parents. It is time to focus in the present and let go the past. Leave behind all your emotional luggage, this universe is the place to be happy and start to look for solutions.
Today you are in charge of your present and your future
1.       Make a list of all your negative emotions about your parents.

2.       Make a list of all the sacrifices your parents made for you.


This exercise will help you to be in control of your happiness and let go the negative emotions.  It is the time to transform all your negative emotions about your parents for positive emotions. Embrace your life and keep optimistic. You have to make peace wherever you are and let it go is the solution.

RESENTIMIENTOS


Hoy es el día para enfrentar la realidad y parar de juzgar a nuestros padres. Una gran cantidad de personas pasan sus vidas culpando a sus padres por sus desdichas. Nuestros padres hicieron lo mejor que pudieron, no se instruyeron en tomar cursos, seminarios o leyeron libros acerca de cómo criar niños. Si tienes hijos piensa en esto. ¿En algún momento haz sentido miedo criando a tu hijo/s? Nuestros padres experimentaron los mismos sentimientos de temor, quizás por sus edades, estado emocional, economía, etc. Para de culparlos por las elecciones que haz tomado en tu vida. Hoy es el día a pensar en todos los sacrificios que ellos han hecho por ti. Tener ideas negativas acerca de ellos no te ayudaran a ti o a ellos, sólo crearan en ti más resentimientos, depresión, enfermedades, cicatrices emocionales y limitaciones. Pocas personas crecen sin cicatrices emocionales; algunos padres han cometido  errores mayores que otros. Tenemos que reconocer que somos adultos y necesitamos poner  un paro a las  obsesiones, ideas de resentimientos y desprendernos de los sentimientos negativos. Deja de hacerte la víctima y sentir pena por tí mismo. Quién eres hoy ha sido tu decisión, no la de tus padres. Es hora de centrarse en el presente y dejar ir el pasado. Libérate del las angustias del pasado, este universo es el lugar para ser feliz, comienza a buscar soluciones desde hoy. Tienes que crear tu propia paz y desprenderte de las emociones negativas.
Estás a cargo de su presente y su futuro
1.    Haz una lista de todas las emociones negativas que sientes concerniente a tus padres.

2.    Haz una lista de todos los sacrificios que tus padres han hecho por ti.

Este ejercicio le ayudará a tener control en su felicidad y dejar a un lado las emociones negativas. Este es el momento para convertir todas tus emociones negativas acerca de sus padres y transformarlas en emociones positivas. Abraza tu vida y mantente optimista.

Divino, hazme un instrumento de tu amor. Dame la bendición de desprenderme de mis intranquilidades y transmitir quién soy. Soy amor y esto es lo que siento dentro de mí
